Lyrics
Don?t Wanna
Words and Music by James Horning

chorus 1
I can see the sunlight peakin? out beyond this stony wall and,
I can see the clouds a comin? I hear the rain as it falls and,
I can feel the breeze a blowin? I watch it rustle in the trees and
I am hear right now but soon I think that I?ll be leaving?

verse
You roll your eyes and wonder why I do not cry
Why so happy with my plain and simple life
Look around and let the world open your eyes

chorus 2
I can feel the sunshine now, far beyond that stony wall and
I can see the clouds a goin? I hear the rain as it stops fallin?
I can feel the warm breeze blowin? hammock swinging in the trees and
I am here right now, ain?t no use in leavin? leavin?

verse
There are many who can?t see and they wish they could
But they smile anyway, ?cause they hear real good
Those who know no sound are happy that their eyes can see
What?s the deal with you and me?

bridge
You need to look inside and change that point of view
Stop, Listen, can you hear it?
So tell me why do you fear it?

chorus 3/altro
I don?t wanna wake up sad, I don?t wanna feel so blue
I don?t wanna feel that bad, I?m not unhappy how about you
Maybe the problem is you
Maybe that problem?s you!

Description
Short Song Description:
An easy-going song about enjoying life and being content.
Long Song Description:
When life looks rainy and the clouds are coming, it's best to look beyond them and see that the sun is due to make another appearance. It's also a good idea to let the complainers know that they are the problem, not you...that's what this song is about.
Story Behind the Song:
I was actually working at a boat dock and was stuck in the rain...I could see the sun shining beyond a brick wall nearby and I started writing this song.
