U Lied

Lyrics
U Lied
Words and Music by James Horning

verse
I am not your sole salvation
I am not your restoration
I am not your project or your reason to go on.

I was not the one with all those empty platitudes
Never was I changing and displaying all my moods
No and tears were never weapons in a sly attempt to sway
Truth is truth and that I know has chased the lies away.

chorus
Cause Baby you lied, and there ain?t no looking back
There ain?t no moving on
It?s a matter of fact?Baby you were wrong
Ain?t no looking back
Ain?t no moving on
Baby you were wrong

verse
You were not my only pathway
You were not my golden day
And you are not the reason that I am here today

Oh and I see you have spread the poison to willing ears that hear
No doubt drumming up support from those with equal fears
And if it helps you compromise a life of hidden guilt
Then chalk it up to lessons learned?and it?s a new patch on your quilt

chorus
Cause Baby you lied, and there ain?t no looking back, NO
There ain?t no moving on
It?s a matter of fact?Baby you were wrong
There ain?t no looking back
There ain?t no moving on
Baby you were wrong, wrong

Bridge
You were wrong to think that you can?t be replaced
Your spots already filled, your lie has erased? You?.

chorus
You lied, and there ain?t no looking back, NO
There ain?t no moving on
It?s a matter of fact?Baby you were wrong
Ain?t no looking back
Ain?t no moving on
Baby you were wrong, wrong

Ahh, you shouldn?t have lied
There ain?t no looking back
There ain?t no moving on, Baby you were wrong, wrong
